The hip to waist ratio health test is a test to indicate any health problems. To do this test you would measure your hips at the widest point and your waist usually around the naval. After you have done this you would divide your waist length fro you hip length. Fat stored in the waist is a higher risk to health problems than anywhere else in the body.

Advantages
- Simple and easy to do.
- Minimal Equipment needed.
- Can be done anywhere.
Disadvantages
- You need assistance to help measure.
- It is very hard to get an accurate measurement of the hips.
- The result might not be fat and could be muscle from doing exercise and can give a false result.
